Beautifully said! “when one tries to dominate, the other slingshots back into power” — yes, absolutely. When the polarities are unbalanced, we risk losing ourselves to one side, usually in the most extreme ways. I love how you broke down this article into historic events, personal reflection, and help us—the audience—understand the importance of developing a healthy relationship with both our masculinity and femininity qualities. One without the other can definitely spill into toxicity. This was a great read while enjoying my morning cup of coffee. Thank you for your wisdom and insight.
Thanks, Elsie!! It was a soothing way to explore what I see as a massive blind spot in western society. My Virgo venus loves to map out an intuitive feeling with evidence
I'm a senior psychology student, and I'm amazed by how countries and planets can be considered masculine or feminine. I had never thought about it that way before, but now it makes sense to me. It's the energy surrounding them that gives them that potential. (I believe that governments or those in power create this imbalance to justify the totalitarianism we’re currently living in.)
And about the drop in dating is because men fear to approach women because of the movement me too.I don’t know if you’re aware, but there’s an app called Tea that lets women leave anonymous comments about men. It effectively creates two categories: the men who receive no feedback at all because they’re deemed not attractive enough, and the men who have feedback—but a single negative comment will wipe out every positive one. As a result, future women looking at a man’s profile will see only a bad history and avoid him altogether, eventually leaving no one left to date.
I saw that about Tea, but they also had a data leak where the women who were using it got massively doxed. Feels like the masc and femme at war more than just one group bullying the other
Great read. Well done 🫵🏻
